16th Student Conference on Computer Science 2-5.4.2024 – 3rd Announcement and Program

2 – 5 April 2024, at NOESIS Conference Center

We hereby notify you of the 3rd announcement and program of the 16th Student Conference on Informatics of Central Macedonia, which will be held on April 2, 3, 4, and 5, 2024, at the Conference Center “N. Economou” (NOESIS – Science Center and Technology Museum).

We would like to inform you of the deadline for uploading paper presentations for the Conference, which is Thursday, March 28, through the cloud storage of the school units (link has already been sent to schools).

On Wednesday 27 March, the chairs of the programme sessions will be published. Also on the same day, the list of parallel actions in the framework of the conference will be published. Online webinars for teachers, lectures for teachers – students at NOESIS will be announced, as well as a short tour-retrospection of the history of the creation of NOESIS through the representative exhibition of the Hellenic Museum of Technology, hosted in the reception area of NOESIS. We invite teachers to check the conference website to be informed about these activities and to register. Certificates of attendance at all these actions will be provided.

The Conference will be held in person at NOESIS premises, always taking into account all health protocols of the conference period.

The 16th Student Conference on Informatics will present projects of school units from all over Greece, as well as from schools abroad, from countries with which the PDE of Central Macedonia cooperates and develops joint educational actions. In exceptional cases, students of remote schools will be given the opportunity to present / participate online.

Detailed instructions will be posted on the conference website for the attendance and participation of schools in the conference, as well as details on the participation of students in the exhibition park, as well as in the demonstrations of work in the Foyer.

Students of all school units can attend the proceedings of the conference, either in person or online. The movement of pupils is part of educational visits by schools.

The Student Conference on Computer Science has the approval of the Ministry of Education with Ref. Φ15.1/131883/Δ2 16-11-2023. The conference has been placed under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior (Macedonia – Thrace) and the communication sponsor of the event is the public television ERT.
