Christmas action by NOESIS
and the Experimental Lyceum of the University of Macedonia

In the framework of the collaboration of the Mathematics Association of the Experimental Lyceum of the University of Macedonia with NOESIS, for yet another year we offer free of charge to the educational community and the general public Christmas cards with mathematical-artistic creations to send your Christmas wishes.

The cards are based on works designed by the students of the Mathematics Club and depict Christmas trees inspired by the art of mosaic. The works utilize in their design the mathematical ideas of Isometries and Tessellations, which played an important role in the arts of all civilizations that flourished on the planet from the beginnings of prehistoric man until today and are colored in warm autumn, frosty winter and bright festive color combinations.
