This project is implemented in the framework of the Operation “Interactive and Experiential Learning Platform for the promotion of ancient Greek culture and science through Prototype Construction of Mechanical Feedback and Virtual Reality applications” (Project code T1EDK-03735) which is part of the -Create-Innovate “and is funded by the Operational Program” Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation “(NSRF 2014-2020) (co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and Greece).

The aim of the project is to create an Experiential and Interactive Learning platform consisting of an original mechanical construction in which multiple interactive educational scenarios can be executed with the main thematic units of Technology, Science and Culture, and which will fully support interactive applications using Virtual Reality technology. In the original platform, the user, in addition to the 3D projection and control of the viewing angle already provided by the existing Virtual Reality applications, will have the possibility for complete physical feedback through specialized equipment that simulates motion, rotation, handling and dynamic feedback. in this way the physical experiences in which he participates. The proposed project has the philosophy to unite educational, cultural and research organizations as well as companies active in the fields of Culture, Tourism, Education and Informatics with the ultimate goal of promoting and advancing science, technology and culture in the past. both in the present and the future, through targeted actions of research and development of Experiential Virtual Reality 4D technologies. Apart from the main result of the Project that will be implemented with the aim of its immediate application at the NOISIS Museum of Technology, the original construction and the accompanying software that will be produced within the Project will be promoted for commercial exploitation by the collaborating bodies aiming at its use by museums. , educational and cultural institutions both in Greece and abroad.
