Expanding synergies in NOESIS
NOESIS President, Dr. Styliani Bezergianni, opening a cycle of ceremonial meetings with institutions and personalities of Thessaloniki and in the context of extroversion and expansion of collaborations and synergies, welcomed and guided successively at the Science Center and Technology Museum the President of the American Farm School, Dr. Jeff Lansdale and the President of the Greek Exporters’ Association (SEVE), Mr. Simeon Diamantidis.
He guided the two Presidents around NOESIS, starting from the only Planetarium in Northern Greece, the Cosmotheater, with the largest flat screen in the country, the Simulator, and the Museum of Technology. Both Dr. Lansdale and Mr. Diamantidis showed particular interest in the exhibition of Ancient Greek Technology and in the rich collection of vehicles, while they did not fail to note the penetration of the Technopark, which through interaction educates and introduces in the best way the laws of physics and beyond.
It should be noted that the President of AFS discussed how to connect the two neighboring bodies with regard to educational visits of students and the joint organization of scientific events and workshops.
For his part, the SEVE President expressed the conviction that NOESIS should be a landmark and a point of reference and visit for Greek and foreign tourists, recognizing the contribution of the Center to the dissemination of technology and science, while he asked to be extensively informed about the educational programs implemented.
