MEDEA 21-multidisciplinary symposium, conference and exhibition of posters and interactive works SYNTOPIA
NOESIS welcomes the multidisciplinary Symposium Medea 2021, hosting on September 5 the Mutatios conference and at the same time, from 5 to 10 September 2021 the Syntopia exhibition with posters and interactive works.
At the Mutations conference, greeted by the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Nikolaos Papaioannou, issues related to science, society and economics were raised, topics that are the three main topics of discussion.
The exhibition of interactive posters and three-dimensional works by Syntopia includes creations by graduates of Fine Arts faculties from Polish universities, which combine modern technological applications with art forms. The inauguration, which took place on Sunday 5 September, was greeted by the General Director of NOESIS, Thanassis Kontonikolaou, the Dean of Fine Arts of AUTh, Stella Lavva and representatives of the academic community of the Schools of Fine Arts of Poland.
The Medea 2021 Symposium, which runs from September 4 to 11, is like a long journey into an ocean of information, combining art, architecture, computer science, technology, math, everything that expresses it. modern spectacular and invisible world and are a source of inspiration, but also a search for creators from every corner of the earth, in every period of human civilization.
This is a meeting of science, technology and art, not necessarily in this order, organized by the Academy of Arts in Szczecin, Poland, in collaboration with the Association for Support of Science, Art and Technology (Association for Support of Science, Art and Technology).
This year, the frameworks of the MEDEA 2021 Symposium are expanded further. In addition to five different panels on art, science, social and economic sciences, parallel exhibitions are held at both NOESIS and the Rea Hotel in Katerini.
Co-organizers of MEDEA 2021 are the Athens Digital Arts Festival, departments of Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Architecture, Architectural Design, Business Administration and Law, Molecular Physics and University of Poland, Sojo University of Japan, the Department of Physics Department of Physics, Kapodistrian University of Athens, NOESIS and Gallery Uptown Koenji in Tokyo.
The organizer and coordinator of MEDEA 2021 is the professor of the Academy of Art in Szczecin in Poland, Andreas Guskos.
