Meeting with the Rector of AUTh, Nikos Papaioannou

The General Director of NOESIS, Thanassis Kontonikolaou, had a meeting with the Rector of AUTh, Nikos Papaioannou and the Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs, Andreas Giannakoudakis.

The cooperation of the two bodies has existed for several years and has been excellent and mutually beneficial, as repeatedly distinguished academics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki have been Presidents and members of the Board of Directors of NOESIS.

This long-term cooperation is going to take on a formal character with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement, which will include joint activities such as:

Internship for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students of all sciences.

– Cooperation with ELKE in matters of research, dissemination and communication of science and technological developments.

– Participation of NOESIS in the activities of the ESERO (European Space Education Resource Office) of ESA (European Space Agency) in Greece, which have been undertaken by the Pedagogical and the Department of Geology of AUTh.

– Organization of events, conferences and actions related to innovative technologies, digital applications, start up companies. NOESIS undertakes an active role in promoting and expanding the recognition of the AUTh project in these fields.

– Exchange of know-how on issues related to the activities of the two bodies related to new technologies, digital productions, digital media and educational programs aimed at research, dissemination and communication of science in cultural structures and the general public.
