NOESIS and SBE discussed the development of synergies

The possibilities of cooperation between the Science Center and Technology Museum – NOESIS with the Federation of Industries of Greece – SBE were discussed by the heads of the two institutions during their meeting at the Science Center & Technology Museum in Thessaloniki.

NOESIS President, Dr. Dr. Styliani Bezergianni welcomed the President of SBE, Loukia Saranti, gave her a tour of the Center’s premises and informed her about the multidimensional role of the Foundation, the educational programs it implements, the recreational activities that attract the interest of young and old, as well as the exhibitions – permanent and periodic – it hosts.

Mrs. L. Sarantis toured the projection halls and the Technology Museum and listened with particular attention to NOESIS’ contribution to the promotion of science and technology developments through its actions, but also to the steps planned by the Science Center and Technology Museum in the context of its further extroversion, having completed 20 years of operation.

The Presidents of NOESIS and SBE discussed in detail the possible frameworks of cooperation between the two bodies and expressed the conviction that there are many possibilities for synergies. In this context, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the aim of offering to society and looking to the future and development of Thessaloniki.
