NOESIS submits a proposal for the energy upgrade of its building

In the framework of the Action “Energy Upgrading of Public Buildings – Actions of Energy Upgrading and Energy Saving (EXE) and Utilization of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in Higher Education Institutions, Student Dormitories of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs . and the MINISTRY OF DEVELOPMENT & INVESTMENT “which was announced by EYD OP. “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development” and co-financed by funds of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the body submitted a Proposal and relevant study with the cooperation of expert scientists and based on the know-how and experience of its executives.

The proposed action concerns the use and application of new technologies in order to improve the energy footprint, the optimal energy consumption of the building, the zero pollution of the environment and the reduction of the operating costs of its facilities.

The complex study proposes a modern system of automation and control of lighting systems, central air conditioning and ventilation of the building and the use of two standard recycling stations adapted to international data and standards.

It also includes the installation of state-of-the-art photovoltaic elements for the energy autonomy of the building and the own generation of energy to cover the consumption of equipment and facilities.

Additionally, the construction of green rooms with a total area of ​​4,500 square meters is planned, which will offer natural cooling, new aesthetics and quality of life.

The study upgrades and enriches the emblematic character of the building and aspires to be an example for the use of new technologies of original applications and green buildings.

The Proposal is expected to contribute the most to the main goal of the institution which is to highlight the innovation of the space and the facilities in full connection with the Programs and the actions it offers to the visitors and the new generation.

Also, by organizing and integrating the applications in the educational activities and programs that it carries out, it considers that it will contribute significantly to the formation of perception and mentality of the citizens and students of our country for the usefulness and vital importance of proper management of natural energy resources and individual measures for recycling and environmental protection.
