The possibilities of cooperation with… Technology, innovation and the environment were discussed by NOESIS President, Dr. Styliani Bezergianni and the President of FODSA of Central Macedonia and President Pylaia Chortiatis Municipal Council, Michalis Geranis during their meeting at the Science Center and Technology Museum in Thessaloniki.

Mr. Geranis was guided by Mrs. Bezergianni at the Center’s premises and was informed about the multidimensional work of NOESIS, the educational programs it implements, as well as the exhibitions it hosts.

The President of the Regional Solid Waste Management Body of Central Macedonia showed particular interest in the exhibitions hosted at the Science Center & Technology Museum. During the meeting, ways of cooperation between the two institutions were explored, as NOESIS receives hundreds of students daily, while at a very short distance from it is the environmental park of FODSA, which is also addressed to students and aims to raise children’s awareness about the proper management of waste through games, simulation activities and artistic creations.

The Presidents of NOESIS and FODSA of Central Macedonia identified a wide field in which the two bodies can develop synergies in order to jointly contribute to the national goal of diverting organic waste, their extroversion and further strengthening their relationship with the educational community and beyond.
