Peiramatistas – NEW sections

A little aside, please, the Peiramatistas came!
From Toddlers to Second Grade

The laboratories of Peiramatistas include simple experiments with everyday materials, smart toys and constructions. The workshop process is participatory, collaborative and intensely experiential. It concerns STEAM sciences (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and combines experiments, constructions, games. The new cycle of workshops will give young scientists the opportunity to:
– launch their missiles where only imagination can reach
– experiment with light and its journey through translucent and transparent materials
– test the power of wind, solar, electrical and magnetic energy.

The cycle includes 3 thematic workshops:
1. From the Earth to the Moon
2. Light and shadow
3. Energies and natural forces

1. From the Earth to the Moon
Space missions, the phases of the Moon, air launch constructions and everyday materials, fantasy game to rescue the APOLLO 13 mission.
– Construction for the house:
Individual construction of a Earth – Moon model
Calendar of observation of the cycle of the Moon

2. Light and shadow
Creative games with light and shadow, materials that hold light, observation with phosphorescent materials, light and image, composition of colors and images, how light travels.
– Construction for the house:
Mechanisms that make up the colors: colored discs

3. Energies and natural forces
The power of wind energy, the power of solar energy, magnetism.
– Construction for the house:
Electricity: circuit with foil, battery and led
Electromagnetism: manufacture of a magnet with wire and battery

Peiramatistas natural sciences laboratories were presented as a good educational practice at the 2nd International Conference of the University of Macedonia “Reimaging schooling”, Thessaloniki, September 2015.

The organization of the content is carried out by “Knowledge and Experience”.

Procedure for securing participation
1. Completing the online application form.
2. Payment methods:
– Electronic payment. All VISA, Mastercard debit/credit cards are accepted.
– Completion of the form at NOESIS, depending on availability and payment at the cashier during its opening hours (Tuesday to Friday 9:00 – 15:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:30 – 18:00).
3. Ensuring final participation:
The final participation in the program is ensured by the payment of the participation amount and the receipt of a confirmation email.
