Report “Artificial Intelligence: Possibilities and Challenges” by ITI-CERTH

The Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) presents at NOESIS premises the temporary exhibition “Artificial Intelligence: Possibilities and Challenges”. Artificial Intelligence technology has flourished rapidly in recent years with its impressive achievements receiving great publicity among the general public. Expectations from emerging technology are high, however, these are often accompanied by exaggerated predictions and technophobia.

The exhibition is addressed to the general and student audience and offers interactive information on what Artificial Intelligence is, Evolution Timeline, Productive AI, Applications – Examples – Challenges and more specific issues such as Personal Data, Sustainability, Misinformation and Bias. Through digital interactive applications, where AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology is used, through multiple exhibition examples, as well as through innovative design, it is explored how this new technology will determine, at an ever-increasing rate, every aspect of our lives. At the same time, the public will have the opportunity to get acquainted with relevant research activities and results of CERTH-ITI. Free admission.
