The Secretary General for Research and Innovation, Tasos Gaitanis at NOESIS

The new Secretary General for Research and Innovation, Tassos Gaitanis, made his first visit to the Science Center and Technology Museum – NOESIS in Thessaloniki. Mr.
Gaitani was welcomed by NOESIS President, Dr.
Styliani Bezergianni who briefed him in detail on the multidimensional work of the Center, as well as on the initiatives undertaken by its Board of Directors as of January 1, 2023.
At the same time, Mr.
Gaitanis toured the facilities, was informed about the educational programs and recreational activities implemented by NOESIS, as well as about the exhibitions it hosts, emphasizing on the actions aimed at the extroversion of the organization.
In addition, the Secretary General for Research and Innovation was briefed on critical issues related to the Centre’s operation, on the challenges and opportunities it faces, as well as on the actions taken by the Management for its resolution. Dr. Dr. Styliani Bezergianni focused particularly on the maintenance needs of the unique architectural building that houses the largest screen in the country and SE Europe, as well as the Planetarium and described the development prospects of the Science Center and Technology Museum.
Above all, however, he presented data that demonstrate his important role, his uniqueness and his contribution to society, the city and the wider region of Northern Greece.
The meeting was also attended by the Board of Directors by Vice-President Mr.
Vlachogiannis Giorgos, the Secretary General, Mr.
Cacabegas Akrios, Members Mr.
Vlachogianni Ifigenia and Mr.
Gounaris Anastasios, as well as the General Manager of the organization Mr.
Aphthonides Evangelos.
