World Space Week with free activities at NOESIS from 4/10 to 10/10/2024

NOESIS on the occasion of World Space Week 4-10/10/2024, from Friday 4/10 to Thursday 10/10/2024, offers free of charge after reservation the following activities for school groups.
First come first served. – GeoArt: an activity on Space in collaboration with ESERO Greece (9 & 10 October)For Toddlers – Preschoolers Duration of activity: 30 ́ 1 class / presentation (about 25 people) The activity can be repeated 3 times until noon (10.00, 11.00, 12.00) – Demonstration of physics experiments in collaboration with the National Educational Centre of Thessaloniki (4 October) For fourth grade – A ́ Gymnasium Duration of activity: 30 ́ 2 classes / presentation (about 50 people) The activity can be repeated 3 times until noon (10.00, 11.00, 12.00) – The Knowledge Game in the Kahoot app with questions related to Space and the climate crisis.
Students will participate with their mobile phones (8 – 10 October)
For B’ Gymnasium – C’ Lyceum Duration of activity: 30 ́ 1 class / presentation (approximately 25 people) The activity can be repeated 3 times until noon (10.00, 11.00, 12.00) – Visit to the Space infopoint (for all classes) (4 – 10 October) In order to participate in the above free activities of NOESIS it is necessary to make a reservation at 2310 483 000, ext. 2, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:00. World Space Week is celebrated every year, from 4 to 10 October, at the initiative of the UN and is supported by the World Space Week Association (WSWA).
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Space and climate change”.
